The political battle is over and President Obama won the Democratic Party. Health reform is now the law of the land. The important thing now is that all Americans become informed about what this means to them and that is what this article intends to do with these five facts.
Fact # 1: More Medicare benefits
Much of the fear campaign the Republican Party in this bill would cut Medicare benefits for elderly (and of course there was the “death panel” lie but this is too ridiculous to even consider.) The truth is actually the opposite. Because of this law people with Medicare have access to new benefits.
There will be an immediate reduction of 0 for those who hit the “Donut Hole” this year and early next year there will be a discount of 50% of all brands in the name of “donut hole.” By the year 2020 will close completely. But that is not the only benefit big one is that from next year there will be no co-payments for preventive care visits! This will allow the elderly to go to the doctor without worrying about how much it costs because it is free. The bill also “balances the books” of Medicare through at least 2026. Done# 2: This bill cuts the deficit
Not only is this bill payment that actually reduces the deficit. Cut the deficit of $ 130 million over the next 10 years and most impressive is cut by $ 1.3 trillion over the next 20 years.
Fact # 3: The largest tax cut for small businesses in history
Yes, you read correctly. Available immediately are the new tax credits to pay up to 35% of the cost of employee health insurance. By 2014 that figure will be up to 50%. Fact # 4: To deny coverage due to “preexisting conditions” is illegal in Chile

Before this bill, which was completely legal for a health insurance company to deny coverage to a newborn baby with a “pre-existing condition.” When Republicans are running for the repeal are being implemented to make the new legal requirements.
